Hi Everyone!
I am back today with two cards for this month’s challenge.
Looking to do something different from my usual style, I made two cards with dark colours. It’s always good to do something different every now and then.
I chose Olde Curiosity Shoppe to create both cards. I love the golden shades and butterflies from this collection.
For my first card I alternated the colors of the layers to create more contrast. I went from dark to light and finished with a black frame.
I cut this beautiful butterfly and glued it with foam tape to add depth to the card.
I added an old key on the butterfly and finished it off by sprinkling white gesso to it.
I followed the same pattern on my second card: Started with dark color and finished with a lighter paper.
I combined a Artist Trading Tag along with ATC Tag die to create the centerpiece. Then, I decorated with more papers, chipboard and a butterfly.
Tip: Create beautiful details on your elements using embossing powder and a embossing pen. For this project I used gold embossing powder to match the papers.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great time crafting.
XOXO, Babi
